The Lomax is an iconic 90's Liverpool music venue spread over three floors. Its stage has been graced by the likes of Radiohead, Muse, Oasis, Coldplay The Mission and Turin Brakes. Local legends all played there, Ian McCulloch, Ian McNabb and Pete Wylie to name but a few. After too many years wearing various disguises the Lomax is back where it belongs, in the hearts and minds of the city's musicians and music lovers.
The new custodians of the venue are local musicians and music lovers. In the last twelve months alone we have placed over 200 bands in some of the best local venues available. We also have a monthly North West showcase in London at festival legend Vince Powers bar in Kilburn and have been lucky enough to have been gifted a stage at the Glastonbury Festival on it's 40th anniversary. This year we had a presence at the Leeds Festival with two sets on the Jack Daniels stage and the staff end of festival party.
We think we can say that all the bands that we have worked with have had a good gig experience with us and are always happy to play for us again. We are not promoters, more facilitators for bands and venues alike. We never profited from our nights. We insisted that all gigs were free entry and all we asked was that the bands were looked after, be that a few drinks or maybe some assistance with travel expenses.
We are taking that ethic with us to the Lomax.
Stress Free Giggage.
